Princess could make him sign and have notorized a Promissory Note making it legally binding for dave to pay half of his income from now until his death. Princess needs to make sure that it has some legal wording that allows for Her to place a lien or judgement on dave if he defaults, and to try to use wording that includes making the not legally binding in both the state Princess lives, and the state that dave lives. Also, place a clause that excludes bankruptcy as method to refuse or terminate the note. dave is the only signer needed for the note to be legal, but make him notorize it so he can’t try to say it’s not his signature. Also make sure he uses “Sierra Horizons” as the recepient of all payments. if dave owns property such as real estate or automobiles, or a business, have him include it in the note as collateral, so the note is “Secured”. That way if he does try to file bankruptcy, Princess can confiscate and send the “repo-man” after any of the items he lists in the note.
